Ever since the start of the Barroso Commission in late 2004 the EU executive has promised to deliver a new and better communication strategy. On 1 February the EU’s chief communicator Commissioner Margot Wallström will launch the long awaited White Paper. We think this deserves special attention, and EurActiv therefore calls your attention to our Special Week of coverage on ‘Communicating the EU’. ‘Communicating the EU’ will run from 27 January to 3 February 2006, and will cover a number of items:
