EU mulls Erasmus reform to boost student mobility  

Stakeholders are this week (5-6 October) gathering in Sweden to discuss reforming the EU's Erasmus student mobility programme to make going abroad to learn "the rule rather than the exception" for young people.


Education 'key' for Europe's Roma minority  

Experts from around the EU pleaded yesterday (28 September) for better education for Roma people, who are often described as "Europe's largest minority," particularly in Central and Eastern Europe where problems have exacerbated since the fall of communism.
