A few days after it launched a full investigation into the deal between Warner Music and EMI, the Commission announced a detailed inquiry into the merger of AOL and Time Warner. The EU fears that these mergers might have a market dominance in the digital delivery of music via the internet. The Commission now has four months to block or approve the merger.
