EU-wide corporate social responsibility strategy launched - Green paper now online!
The Commission published a green paper on an EU-wide strategy for corporate social responsibility (CSR) on 18 July. Commenting on the green paper, Commissioners Diamantopoulou and Liikanen said: "More and more companies are realising the link between profitability and best ethical and environmental practice." Its publication heralds the start of a consultation period that will last until 31 December 2001.
