Commission adopts eEurope Benchmarking Report
The Commission has adopted an 'eEurope Benchmarking Report', a detailed overview of the development of the European Information Society since the Lisbon Summit in March 2000. The report was issued as input for the Barcelona European Council on 15-16 March, where progress towards the Lisbon target will be assessed and new priorities will be identified.
