Students discuss with decision-makers about the Future of Europe
160 students gathered in the European Parliament for the opening of the "Summit of 28", a simulation of decision-making in an enlarging European Union, on October 1st. Among the speakers addressing the young people were Luis Marinho, Vice-President of the EP, Peter Tempel, Deputy-Head of Cabinet of European Commissioner for Enlargement Günter Verheugen, and Graham Watson, Chairman of the EP Committee on Citizens Freedoms and Rights, Justice and Home Affairs.
