EU and Yugoslavia continue talks on stabilisation and association process
The EU-Yugoslavia Consultative Task Force met for the second time on 6 November in Belgrade to discuss Yugoslavia's preparations to participate in the EU Stabilisation and Association process for the Balkans. The EU and Yugoslavia opened talks on 23 July 2001 that may lead to Yugoslavia's conclusion of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement and give the country the prospect of EU membership.
