Macedonia ready for new round of peace talks

A full-blown civil war in Macedonia has been averted by the withdrawal of ethnic Albanian insurgents from newly occupied territories around the northern city of Tetovo under a NATO-brokered agreement. Macedonian and ethnic Albanian leaders are set to start another round of talks on 27 July, aimed at giving ethnic Albanians more rights.
