Poland explains new negotiating positions to EU
The new Polish Foreign Minister Wlodimierz Cimoszewicz has told EU officials in Brussels that Poland has decided to accept compromises on a number of controversial issues in enlargement negotiations. By agreeing to compromise on free movement of workers and land sales to foreigners, Poland's European integration committee raised the prospect of progress in accession negotiations.
