Stricter European migration policy after 11 September?
Ministers of the interior of the EU, candidate and several other countries recognised the need for stricter European migration policy after the 11 September terrorist attacks. National delegations and international organisations presented their views on the new international situation following the increased threat of terrorism against the West at a conference on European migration policy, organised by the Belgian Presidency of the EU in the European Parliament in Brussels on 16 and 17 October.
