Ministers adopt first set of sustainable development indicators
The Council of 3 December adopted a set of 7 indicators that will be used for the annual reporting on progress on sustainable development in the EU. The first synthesis report on the EU's sustainable development strategy will be presented at the March 2002 Barcelona Summit.
