National parliament representatives to Convention's Praesidium appointed
John Bruton (EPP - Ireland) and Gisela Stuart (Labour - UK) were chosen to represent the EU's national parliaments in the Convention's Praesidium. No voting took place as only two candidates presented themselves and the two main political groups (the EPP and the PES) had agreed to vote for each other's candidate.
