Only limited EU aid for airlines?

The European Commission will only provide limited assistance to European airlines in the wake of the 11 September fallout for the air transport industry. In a Communication to be published on Wednesday 10 October, the Commission states its intention to guard against competition distortions and to monitor the situation.
