Slovak Government avoids collapse
Slovakia's Government avoided collapse on 14 February after its Deputy Prime Minister, Ivan Miklos, survived a no-confidence vote in the Parliament. The Slovak Prime Minister, Mikulas Dzurinda, said his Government would resign if Mr Miklos, responsible for the economy, was dismissed by the Parliament.
