UK denies rumours on 'super EU council' including France and Germany
A recent 'Financial Times' article stated that the UK may soon put forward a controversial proposal to create a "super EU Council", composed of the EU's three largest powers: Germany, France and the UK. This rumour was, however, denied by British Foreign Office, which told EURACTIV that there has never been, nor will be, such a proposal.
