Verhofstadt hosts globalisation conference

Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt hosted a conference on globalisation at the University of Ghent on 30 October that was attended by a wide variety of business, political and civil society leaders. Mr Verhofstadt's views on the positive aspects of globalisation have become well known since the publication of his open letter to anti-globalisation activists in September.
