Austrian chancellor Schüssel ends coalition with Haider's Freedom Party
The Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel announced on 9 September that his party breaks up the ruling coalition with the extreme-right Freedom Party. Early elections will be held on either 17 or 24 November 2002.
