Barcelona Summit: the challenges
During the upcoming Barcelona Summit (15-16 March) the European Council will face a very full agenda with tough and sometimes conflicting issues, such as energy market liberalisation, innovation and social inclusion. The Summit will also revitalise the Lisbon process inteded to make the EU "the most innovative, knowledge-based economy".
