Denmark at the helm of the European Union
The Danish government of Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen takes over the EU Presidency from Spain on 1 July. The Danes haven chosen as the motto for their work programme "One Europe". Bringing the enlargement negotiations to a succesfull end in Copenhagen will be the new Presidency's main priority.
