EU signs Stabilisation and Association Agreement with Croatia
The foreign ministers of the 15 European Union Member States and Croatia will sign a Stabilisation and Association Agreement at the General Affairs Council on 29 October in Luxembourg. The agreement commits Croatia to complete a formal association with the EU, which is based on the gradual implementation of a free trade area and adoption of EU standards with the aim of moving closer to the EU.
