In his latest political essay, entitled ‚Travelling hopefully. Ethics, action, perspective for a revival of Europe‘, Philippe Herzog invites the French and the other Europeans to proceed to self-questioning. According to him, the Union should not serve as an alibi for our inadequacies whereas major reforms are required in the social sphere and the State system. He believes we must learn how to meet others in order to bring some colours back to France and to Europe and delivers precise perspectives for Europe: an original project of economic and social development and a multinational democracy based on civil participation.
