Kurznachricht - Kommission unterstützt Dialog über Nanotechnologie

Ein europaweiter Dialog über die Vorteile und Risiken von Nanotechnologie – sowie ihre sozialen, ethischen und rechtlichen Implikationen – ist gestartet worden.

Nanologue, a new Commission-funded project brings together leading research on the social, ethical and legal implications of nanotechnology. The project will facilitate dialogue and produce guidance for stakeholders and developers of nanotechnology in particular on how to secure of wider benefits for both society and the economy. 

To disseminate the benefits and potential impacts of nanotechnology, the project will produce a global communications strategy targeting researchers, education institutions, businesses, public institutions and regulatory agencies, civil society, financial markets, and the media. 

The project will run until August 2006 and the interested parties can contact the project leader to participate in the ‚Nano-dialogue‘.
